Cañon Grande Room
Our largest guest room has a copper and wood king bed with ‘Pendleton’ accents. Decorated in 1800’s Western Gentleman with a woman’s touch. Faux leather walls in both rooms. Sitting room with leather chairs and ottomans. DirecTV can be viewed from the chairs or from the bed. DVD player. Gas fireplace. In-room coffee maker. Extra large bathroom features individual 19th century wash stands with inset sinks. Two person ‘butterfly’ shower. Bathrobes & slippers. Antiques in all three rooms.
Hacienda Suite – Rent Both Rooms or a Single Room!
This two bedroom family suite is a decorative rendering of romantic colonial Mexico. A custom wood and wrought iron king bed with wood side tables and two cloth covered chairs provide comfort for visiting, reading or viewing the DirecTV/DVD system situated over the Talavera surrounded gas fireplace. The Talavera Room is connected to the Patio Room by a pass-thru bathroom with a two person ‘butterfly’ shower. (When one of the two rooms is booked singly, the other is locked off). The second of the two bedrooms features a custom wood carved queen bed and hand painted mural on the wall behind the bed. This room’s gas fireplace is Saltillo tile. The side tables are Mexican pottery. Bed covers in both rooms are handmade. Both rooms have Talavera sinks with hand painted Mexican tile on the mirrors and hand painted vanities.
Hogan Hozoni Suite – Rent Both Rooms or a Single Room!
Our second two bedroom family suite is a tribute to the Native Americans of Northern Arizona. The Pottery Room, a queen rom, depicts present day Indian peoples and their art. There are family pottery keepsakes from the 1930’s on the shelves. Connected to it by a pass-thru bathroom with a two person ‘butterfly’ shower, is the Kokopelli Room. (When one of the two rooms is booked singly, the other is locked off). This room has two twin beds with a ‘peeled post and leather’ headboard. Rugs, paintings, and carvings are from our family. The mural above the bed is a depiction of ancient rock art. The vanities are custom made. Bed covers in both rooms are handmade. The gas fireplaces in both rooms are a modified ‘beehive’ style with DirecTV/DVD systems situated on each mantel.
El Tovar Room
The center piece of this room is a king size handmade log four poster canopy bed. In one corner of this large room is a large red leather/cowhide wing-back chair. There is a smaller leather easy chair close by. All of the cabinetry in this room is antique, including the vanity in the bathroom. The wall decor is also antique with many family heirlooms. The pictures on one wall show the ‘evolution’ of the El Tovar Lodge at the Grand Canyon since it opened in the early 20th century. Over the gas fireplace is a DirecTV/DVD system. The highlight of the bathroom is a multi-head two person shower.
This one bedroom fully furnished apartment with private parking and entrance is available for extended bookings of three or more nights. The kitchen side of the common area is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. The living area has two leather mission style reclining chairs that face the built-in bookcase with a Direct TV/DVD system. The bedroom features a queen bed and antique tables with sitting area. The large bathroom has two sinks, tub/shower and stack-able washer/dryer. Though it is physically attached to the b&b, it is not part of the b&b services. Daily laundry, cleaning, and cooking are done by the guests themselves. Supplies are stocked under the bathroom/kitchen sinks and in the pantry cupboards. Liberty House lives up to its name with a decor of an old eagle sign, flag, bunting, pictures and collectibles.
